SMA PRADITA DIRGANTARA (Boyolali) – As a follow-up to the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) SMA Pradita Dirgantara with IFI (Institute Fraçais d’Indonésie) related to the establishment, management and development of educational and cultural services for students, Director of IFI Yogyakarta, Madame Sarah Camara visited to SMA Pradita Dirgantara, Thursday, November 5, 2020. This visit aims to socialize with SMA Pradita Dirgantara students who are interested in continuing their studies in France.
The event, which was held offline by complying with health protocols, was attended by the Principal of SMA Pradita Dirgantara, Dr. Yulianto Hadi, Quality Assurance Manager, Dr. Sutanto, and other Pradita Dirgantara officials, also assisted the French teacher Mrs. Ajeng Putri Pratiwi, S.Pd. as well as SMA Pradita Dirgantara students who are interested in continuing their studies in France. “I would like to thank Madame Sarah Camara who took the time to attend and share information with students. We hope that the arrival of the director of IFI can make a great change for SMA Pradita Dirgantara. Meanwhile, Madame Sarah Camara expressed her appreciation after conducting a direct audience with the students of SMA Pradita Dirgantara using French. “With the collaboration between IFI, the French Embassy and Pradita Dirgantara High School, we can establish a relationship that is not only to help students. realizing his dream of continuing to study in France, but also in various events related to France, we will do a lot here. For example, inviting native speakers to introduce students or participating in Francophonie events (a country that uses French), or other agendas such as summer camps, ”said Madame Sarah. The meeting was filled with video screenings about life in France, expositions about the lecture system in France, procedures for living in France, explanations of culture in France, and language programs that students must take to get a DELF B2 certificate “.
Pradita Dirgantara High School students seemed enthusiastic about participating in this event by asking many questions in the question and answer session such as how to find a university that was suitable for their respective interests, the part-time system there, and tuition fees while studying in France. Tasdik Mahandito, a class XIIC student, expressed his joy in participating in this event. “France is a country that” glorifies “education and research. They don’t even think of education as a business. France is also a country with a successful civilization, I want to study its success in developing Indonesia in the future. This meeting encouraged me to study French and continue my studies there, ”said Tasdik.
